Welcome to St. Bridget’s School's website. We hope it gives you a real sense of our small but thriving school, its values and aspirations for our children, who are at the heart of everything we do. Every day our staff and children live out our motto of “Letting our lights shine”!
St. Bridget’s is at the heart of the village of Parton. We care for the whole child and the whole family.

School Admissions for Children
Admissions for children in Reception to Year Six are governed and managed by the county council. Please contact us on 01946 592940, then apply through our admission page.
You may either apply online or download an application form, which needs to be returned to Cumbria County Council. We always endeavour to provide places, but if there are cases of over-subscription, we follow Cumbria County Council's admission policy.
Even if your child is currently in our nursery, you will have to apply through the Council for their Reception place.
